Aword of encourgament!

Give Thanks!

Please know that you are in our prayers. I know that the enemy will often plague us with questions and accusations about why we are experiencing overwhelming problems. I also know that as we enter the last days of preparation for our LORD's return the wisdom and pride of men will be humbled. Illnesses are appearing that are beyond men's ability. Doctors will be humbled as they fail to find cures. Governments are failing and the world appears to be collapsing!

Yet we, who follow Jesus, must be fully convinced that GOD is in control of what we are encountering.

As our LORD went into the garden for the last time before His death, He faced a struggle with trusting in His Father's plan. Even though He knew the outcome, the pain that was ahead overwhelmed Him.

GOD has you and I in His loving hands. He will not fail us during these trying times. The LORD has chosen to reach the lost thru us. That means, that we will be brought into contact with those who need to hear and see first hand the Love and Power of Jesus.

We may have an illness, financial or family issues which will bring us in contact with those our LORD is reaching. GOD will provide us the peace and strength to endure everything we will face.

The question is how will we encounter our trials. It is our choice to trust Him and enter His peace in the storms or to panic and look everywhere else.

There was a book that came out years ago that I was introduced to in Seminary. "Prison to Praise." It focused on two simple scripture. I truly believe that these two verses will provide encouragement for the days ahead, no matter what storms we will face.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NASB)
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Note the phrase, "THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU!'

Then note the preposition, "IN" everything not "FOR" everything!

Our giving thanks "IN" everything is GOD's will for us! This can only be done because of this scripture.

Romans 8:28 (NASB)
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Yes we must "KNOW" this.. we must stop all doubting of GOD in any area where we are struggling through a trial or storm. GOD has clearly stated....

Jeremiah 32:27 (NASB)
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”

GOD is there with you! He has each of us where we are for a reason. There are hurting people around us, that need to see our trust in the LORD and the peace that He is providing us in the same storms that they are in. GOD placed Job and Paul in storms that He could reach those who did not know Him. GOD is doing the same with us! You are in my prayers.

In His Love,
Joe Stroman

Isaiah 57:14
“ Build up, build up, prepare the way,
Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people.”
